Smell Good, Feel Good?

So, those who know me know I love me some Jackie Aina. Auntie Jackie is always keeping the girls laced with the beauty, skincare, and home tips. Before I took my social media break, I was watching her other instagram, @lavishlyjackie , where she talks about her extensive fragrance collection and had me wondering where did my love for perfume go over the years.
If you know anything about perfume, there’s usually three+ types of the same scent but depends on the fragrance oil concentration - Eau De Toilette (the lowest oil concentration), Eau De Parfum (the most common purchased and medium oil concentration) and Eau De Parfum Intense (the strongest and most fragrant). There’s also different size options including a travel size for when you may need to refresh during the day.
I’ve always been a single fragrance type of girl, with one signature scent. That scent has elevated over the years from Victoria Secret’s Wicked to Prada Candy and Zara Tuberose to Ariana Grande’s Cloud. Here and there, I’d throw on some Gucci Guilty when I was heading out, but that’s as extensive as it got until now.
I’ve been on a shopping spree - fragrance included. I sampled YSL Libre last year and fell in love but never went back to snag the full size bottle. Well sample, no more, YSL Libre, Eau De Parfum is now apart of my collection. Something sexy to throw on after hours for a date night or even to head out on the town.

As I was about to leave out of Sephora, I saw the Valentino: Voce Viva and decided to smell it. Fell in love with it! It smells similar to YSL Libre but it has some more sweetness to it, to give you an everyday scent.

So, I enjoyed shopping the day before for fragrance, so I took myself back to Ulta and went to smell more. SN: Chanel No 5 smells horrible to me - sorry not sorry 🤷🏾♀️) But my friend Ciarra had me smell Versace Dylan Blue and I saw it. The pretty blue bottle helped me make my decision, but I smelled it again and ended up purchasing it. This is also something that can be worn everyday.

Gucci Guilty is my go-to going out fragrance. I never thought I’d be a fan of warm and spicy scents but it’s not overbearing. The floral overpowers it more, in my opinion, and as we have probably noticed, I love florals.

Ariana Grande Cloud has quickly become my favorite everyday scent. Literally had a customer walk in and I smelled it and she told me what it was. I purchased it online less than 5 minutes later and have not regretted it since. It has more of fruity scent to it but very sweet as well.

Louis Vuitton’s Attrape-Rēves just might be my favorite fragrance EVER. I finally went back to purchase after having a sample and I’m even more in love. I knew this would be in my collection the moment I smelled it. Now here she is!
