Lip Balm, Lip Scrubs, Lip Masks? Oh My!
So I have beautiful full lips lol my favorite part of my face, truly, but sometimes it’s hard to find lip care that actually works! I’ve used so many over the years and I’m here to report the combo that works flawlessly! But before I dive into that, here’s a list of what I’ve tried and their effectiveness;
Lip Balm:
Jack Black - Rank: 9/10
Worked for years for me, but then stopped all of a sudden when I began my meds. Highly recommend!
Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Balm- 0/10
Literally sat on top of my lips and made no difference
Laneige Balm: 2/10
Very sticky and served no purpose, in my opinion. Great scents thought
Vaseline Lip Therapy: 7/10
Hit or miss; sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t- inconsistent and sits on top of lips.
Lip Mask:
Laneige Lip Mask: 10/10
I’ve used a few of their scents and definitely love the thickness of it- stays on all night long
Tarte Awake Lip Mask: 10/10
The strawberry milk scent is the one I am currently using. No complaints at all. Thick in consistency as well
Lip Scrub:
Fenty Lip Scrub: 6/10
It doesn’t really make a difference for me; feels good but not as effective as I’d like.
Makeup by Mario Perfecting Lip Scrub: 10/10
My favorite! Sugar dissolves in lips as I am scrubbing and leaves lips hydrated as its removing the dead skin
Lush Cosmetics Lip Scrub: 7/10
Fun and tastes great but messy. Does leave lips feeling moisturized though
